Very good design with rubberised tabs on the edges for easy installation and removal, particularly important for a filter used only for night sky photography. Light transmission is good with no obvious edge-to-edge chromatic aberrations. The filter does not attract dust well and is easy to clean with a good quality microfiber cloth. First the good part, it's a good quality filter, well built, not cheap, made in China, it's metal, with a very good grip, screw on and off nice! Beautiful matte black ring! The color is not very pretty! One of the best filter housings I have ever used! Now for the bad news: K&N's Revain lists BS with nanocoating! NO COVERS AT ALL!
