I really like this thing. I've been a carpenter for over 20 years. and I wore a precise (well-fitting) pillow belt. I wore these things EVERY DAY. But the one I wore at the time had a thick leather belt with two holes through the loops. I carried two leather pouches on my belt. This one from Condor has a very strong velcro on the outside! I've been using this belt for three years with a nylon Cobra buckle belt. I work in law enforcement and when I wear it it's usually only an hour or two before it's time to drop gear. I don't really like him, but I don't hate him enough to agree with any of the alternatives.
