Much better than the first attempt

I was hesitant to purchase "blast belts" or combat harnesses because the original design left a lot of imperfections in In terms of comfort and functionality leave a lot to be desired. Condor doesn't particularly like the tactical gear brand, but they hit the nail on the head with this Gen II belt. It has many functional improvements including improved stitching and where flip leg holsters should be (both sides) there is a new built in mechanism that helps prevent slippage which other harnesses

Pros
  • Velcro side panels for easy insertion of inner harness and attachment of folding leg holster
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Excellent combat belt for its price. While there are better samples out there (HSGI, 5.11, etc.), this one is very good value for money. I was initially skeptical about buying this belt and leaned towards other, more expensive brands. I looked at the Condor version as a cheap way to test out the concept (and initially bought an environment that was too big for me), with plans to 'upgrade' later. However, I occasionally teach at our LE academy and have observed several students using (really…

BIG UPDATE. BUT I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR A LONG TIME.

I really like this thing. I've been a carpenter for over 20 years. and I wore a precise (well-fitting) pillow belt. I wore these things EVERY DAY. But the one I wore at the time had a thick leather belt with two holes through the loops. I carried two leather pouches on my belt. This one from Condor has a very strong velcro on the outside! You don't have to take everything off to put on the new addition to this belt. You simply undo the velcro and attach it to your belt, then reattach the…

I really don't like it

I've been using this belt for three years with a nylon Cobra buckle belt. I work in law enforcement and when I wear it it's usually only an hour or two before it's time to drop gear. I don't really like him, but I don't hate him enough to agree with any of the alternatives. My biggest complaint is that four Glock magazines loaded causes the top of the strap to roll out (as others have also pointed out). It doesn't matter how low you set them. I've even tried making small holes in it in various…

Great way to carry your camera!

BACKGROUND: I am a photographer. I use this product (actually more of a fanny pack with accessory mount) to store my camera, lenses, flashlight and other small accessories. It's much quicker and easier to put on than hanging various accessories on the belt that holds the pants! Note that LowePro and ThinkTank make products for photographers that meet similar needs, but these products are much more expensive. To see my setup see the customer photo I posted. PRO: Plenty of MOLLE/PALS straps for…
