Will not fit most Challenger Box Switches

Bought for the Challenger box. Has a tab that prevents it from being installed in most places on the box. There was no way to make it appropriate. Called and confirmed this switch only works in select locations in the Challenger box. My application didn't allow it to be used, leaving me with a useless breaker.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Difficult to find on site

If you have an old fuse box, you already know that it can be difficult to find locally. They are a bit fiddly to put on at first, but with a little effort they fit and work perfectly. According to the electric company I spoke to, they should work for all side terminal circuit breakers. Be sure to check if you need a right side clip or a left side clip.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked as a replacement for the Crouse-Hinds circuit breaker. It wasn't an exact match, but it did fit into the appropriate slot that required a left hook. The old light switch was on its last legs as the lights were dimmed from time to time. Easy to replace, but due to the design, removing the old switch is a bit more difficult. But this one seemed new. I don't know what a repaired or repaired switch would have looked like, but there were no obvious signs of wear. One star removed due to…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
