Bought two of these hats for my grandfathers who are two and three years old. The fit of each is a little loose (which doesn't bother me because they grow into them), but they can be pulled up a bit with an elastic drawstring at the back of the panel. This would have been a 5 star rating except a few weeks after the return period had closed my sons tie broke off their hat after a gentle wash. I bought these for my kids for vacations in FL where I wanted it to be on all the time so it had to withstand the pool, ocean and sand. They did a great job, even if they do get wet they are light weight and cool enough too, the kids don't mind, just wring them out and put them back on!
