It is well made, fits perfectly and protects my grandson very well, he even wears it in the pool, I would definitely recommend it for children.

We have had them for my 3 year old for over a year and just turned 1 year old. I love how protective they are, how easy they are to wash and how quick they dry if they get wet at the water parks. Adjusters are great for both the baby and a toddler's head. Have to find something else as sadly my just 8 year old is slowly outgrowing it. We love these hats!

Just like the picture, a bit small if your kid has big head and is 8-10 years old. It has some stretch to accommodate larger heads. The neck hangs well and the hat doesn't crease.

My son loves these hats and needs serious sun protection after chemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately this is not enough. I would say 3-6 years. The description says 4-8 but unlikely to work for most 8 year olds. It worked well for our little 5 year old. Despite being small, it's really well made and looks good. I would buy it again for our youngest son.
