While I found this cap to be warm and fully covered my ears, it tended to ride forward and down on my head blocking my view . Further information. After 3 days of frustration, I attached a 4.5 ounce metal block to the back strap. This stopped the migration. A cumbersome solution, but it works.

This is a good hat with earflaps because it is warm and comfortable. The flip clasps are very difficult to take apart, so much so that I broke one trying to undo them. You don't need them to keep the flaps up though. You keep to yourself. All in all worth the reasonable price.

I was a little worried that the earmuffs wouldn't fall far enough, but it fits perfectly. I love the adjustable strap so I was able to adjust it perfectly to my head size. Really helps to block that cold wind (10 degrees below zero). The peak is big enough to help put it on in light rain that doesn't get my glasses wet.

This is fairly cheaply made and arrived in a complete crumpled mess. I put it in the dryer on the steam press but that didn't help. It is not wearable as it is, so I am returning it. But even if it weren't so badly dented I'd probably send it back. For some reason they made a crease at the top of the hat. One of the most ridiculous features I've ever seen in a dress. You put it on and this crease opens right down the middle of the front of the hat and it looks really weird. Not to mention that…

I love the OD color green so naturally I have some options when it comes to winter hats. This hat is very comfortable. If you like the style of the US Army standard patrol cap, this is the best option I've found. If you're the kind of person who always wears a hat, especially indoors, you should carry a regular hat with you. This hat is very warm and I only recommend it for outdoor use.
