Thank you for asking. I must say that this is the worst experience I have had in all the years of actively and correctly assembling many types of furniture. I finally yelled "Uncle!" and gave these two side tables to a professional who later agreed - they don't fit well, the pieces don't match the furniture in places. For example, the dowels are too small and therefore do not contribute to the overall look and the interaction of the parts.

I find that most unassembled furniture is cheap, but I've built a few pieces that stand out for their exceptional durability. This isn't one of them. They weren't that easy to put together and the end result seems very flimsy. I might even return them if they weren't already assembled and not worth the hassle. However, they are not expensive and hopefully I can afford something nicer/better before they fall apart.

If my only problem was that they put the wrong instructions in the box I would be fine. If my problem was just that the instructions I found online were terrible, then that would be annoying. But the fact that some of the build's key components can't be put together in a solid way is a deal breaker. Screws (with loose wood dowels and glue being the only thing holding some structural sections together!) I am returning this product and will avoid this company in the future.

I got very upset when my husband had to assemble which said "NO" assembly at the site. It took him an hour to do the first one, which came out well. Once fully assembled these end tables are solid and I can comfortably place a reasonable weight on them, around 30 pounds seems reasonable.
