Easy to assemble, well finished. Easily holds my 55" TV. The finish is good. My only gripe is that the back panel that the wires run through is completely open so you can see a mess of wires. I had to make my own back plate out of 1/4" "make thick plywood and drill 2" wire holes. Aesthetically it wasn't acceptable without making your own back. Too bad I took before and after photos.

Warning! DO NOT USE ON CARPET. It's not a bad thing, but not safe on carpet. A small child or even your pet moves around a lot and can be seriously injured. If they said not to use it on carpets then I missed it, if they didn't they better do it or someone will get hurt. I assembled everything and put it on the carpet in my mother's room. It's so wobbly my husband will tape it to the wall. I should just return it, but sometimes that's a bigger hassle. It's not a bad piece, just a partial board…

The surface of the laminate is pleasant to the touch for a laminate, can be applied well and does not flake anywhere. The metal post finish looks nice and not cheap like some others.
