Very nice and easy to assemble

We bought it as part of a kitchen renovation. The color of the copper goes well with my new copper pendant lights, fits the existing recessed light housings with a bit of persuasion and makes the lights look really classy. My husband was so pleased with them that we are ordering more to light up the dining room, living room and hallway.

Pros
  • Molding
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

NO copper finish

This is not copper or even copper coloured, this is aluminum with a pink finish. Bought this for the beach outside and know the salty air will eat it up as it's aluminum. It has two springs inside that attach to the light to hold it in place - very difficult to attach if you don't have space to attach them in the light - the points I had were too close to the bottom so I couldn't pull the ring ABOVE - so I had to put in two screws to attach the springs, I think in the future I may paint mine…

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Very expensive

not enough copper (y) enough

I had a similar experience with another light cover some time ago, but I tried it again here. The quality is absolutely normal, 3 stars for that, but the copper color itself is very muted. Some might like it, but on other devices it doesn't even come close to real copper. Although it looks like copper, it's hardly, and I mean hardly coppery, it's very bright, almost verging on a faint pink in certain lighting conditions. They'll do in a pinch, they're fairly inexpensive, but if you're looking…

Pros
  • Recessed lights
Cons
  • So far so good
