This is porcelain, not the laminated glass of other items in the frosty white collection, and the bowl is large! I haven't checked the dimensions, but you can fit a full pound of oil under the cap. Beautifully finished, matches the color of the plates. I'll warn you right now, this isn't for a packet of oil. We'll use it for butter and some other spreads, in small bowls, covered.

So when buying from stock I expected a chip or some kind of marking on it. No, there was nothing. This part was brand new, probably just opened. I quickly washed the dishes and, as you can see, put my oil in. I was pleasantly surprised by its width. I expected it to be narrower. But now I might consider buying a larger butter or finally making my own and shaping it to suit this dish. Would I recommend or buy again!
