I bought this 18 piece set (Amalfi Verde) when I moved because I grew up with Corell and my family still has the same set from over 30 years ago, just with a very rare broken cymbal (esp is shatterproof/drop resistant, not exactly shatterproof). Very colorful and modern, the new Corelle patterns really suit a wider range of styles. Corelle has been part of my family for generations. Every aunt and cousin has a set, including my mother and sister. When my boyfriend and I decided to get a set, I was ecstatic! We ordered it and were very happy to see that it would be delivered within a few days (in Corona times) but when it arrived I was very disappointed. We've been using Corelle's thin/light/durable/beautiful cookware that's microwave and dishwasher safe almost exclusively for almost 40 years - kids and grandkids come and go and keep eating them a lot over the years!
