I just put these on top of my son's new small duffel bag for extra support as the straps on it weren't soft and I was afraid they would dig when they would be loaded with heavier objects into his shoulders. The straps are about 1.5 inches wide and work well when put on. I had to adjust the velcro very tight to keep the straps up in the shoulder area, but they feel snug and seem to stay in place. Just used these on a family trip to Disney. Oh my gosh these comfy straps were EXACTLY what I needed for my sore shoulders since the backpack I took to the theme parks didn't have any padding. An absolute must for everyone in these situations.

They arrived with a disgusting plastic smell. I washed them and let them evaporate for a couple of months. Much better now. I attached them to the backpack straps with a few stitches to keep them from sliding down. Seems to work well and leave a sore spot on my bony shoulders! Seems well done. Basically quite satisfied.

These comfortable pads attach securely to any harness thanks to the Velcro that runs the full length of the pad. These pads saved my shoulders.

It's worth it! The velcro closure makes it more versatile than many others. Padding on all sides. Carrying these chairs to ball games or transporting equipment makes a world of difference.

I bought these seat belts for my truck and my husband has always loved the comfort they provided when driving with me. I bought it for him as a Christmas present and he was very happy.

Update below HOLY MOLY! Another reviewer mentioned the gassing and god they weren't exaggerating! As soon as I opened the package I smelled terribly of chemicals. Didn't have much, if any, padding. Since I also used these shoulder straps as a purse strap, they basically slipped and slid on the handle of my purse, which I had to reattach a few times. I wouldn't buy them again. Very disappointed.
