I love this skirt, it goes perfectly with my pirate costume. The material is good too. I usually wear medium pants, I have a 28 inch waist, but reviews said they run small. So I ordered a large size and it fits me perfectly. It has a zip closure at the back and a slightly stretchy waistband.

I'm planning to pair the skirt with a well-tailored corset for a Renaissance fair and was hoping it would be a heavier material than the shiny polyester and thin organza overlay it consists done. It is very similar in look and feel to the suit which was disappointing. Lesson learned: For $20 you can get a plastic bag of crumpled rough black fluttering fluff to cover your buttocks.

The appearance is comfortable. Love the layers of quality fabric for the price (black fabric isn't the best but fits well). It was a bit big/loose. The main issue I had was that it is designed to bulge at the hips and give a rounded look at the waist. The layers are sewn together at the back along the zipper/zipper seam. I won't buy it again, it's not scary and I've used it once. I am planning to purchase another skirt that requires a similar outfit before my next outing and that says it all.

I'm 5" 2" and 185 lbs I usually wear 16/18 pants/jeans and I bought these a size 2x and they fit well, waist stretches a little (but not much) I didn't have to unzip it to put it on my hips, the lace feels soft and doesn't itch. The front is a bit longer than I would like for my short frame, it comes down to my knees, I like the longer rear. I could probably live with the fit but there is no button or hook closure at the waist and I was concerned the zipper wouldn't stay closed. The appearance of the skirt is very cute. I give 5 stars because it's good for a Halloween costume and inexpensive, but this skirt isn't very well made and the fabric is cheap quality. It is definitely a costume and not an article of clothing. I bought a large because the sizes meant I should and things from China tend to run small. I'm a US size 4 with a 26" waist and 35" hips. The full skirt is a little loose (I could have made a medium one) but it *holds* up, just not as tight as I was expecting. The skirt is longer than I thought…
