Not 100% cotton as advertised. Has polyester. Misleading descriptions are not cool and Amazon should disqualify sellers. It appears to be a direct consumption product made in China, so it's not clear if there are toxicity standards. For example flame retardants

I bought this promotional basket in our bonus room! I am obsessed with rope baskets and now have them in almost every room in my house! I bought it to hold our hockey, wii and table tennis gear! The basket arrived perfectly folded! It's still trying to take its shape, but without vaping, the basket shape will come over time!

I really like the colors and the size of this basket. I had some doubts as to how the grips would hold up but I guess only time will tell. One thing I noticed was that the instructions told you to stuff an oversized blanket or something in there to get it back in shape and that didn't work and we are on day five. The sides look strong. I would recommend you buy this. Hey you can't beat $20!

Rainbow stitches can be decorative. Light-colored seams on the inside that hold everything together. They too were ruined. About 3 inches. So there is a hole. I'll sew the best stitch there. Because I love the style. I already know I will be doing this for the rest of the life of this item. if i have to fix it. I already know I always will.

I liked this a lot better than I thought. This is a fantastic laundry basket and is quite pretty. My only downside is that the threads are not tied/secured on either side of the handle split (attachment of the handle). So when you pull on them, they start to loosen and expand the grip. It's not a big deal (I can fix it in two minutes with a needle and thread) but I think it should have been worked out during production.

Bought this bedside basket for extra blankets and more. It was easy to get rid of the wrinkles by filling it in all the way and taking it to the bathroom to steam a few times in the shower. It looks great and is very durable. I have a cat that has started scratching her lightly and hasn't had driftwood yet! Very happy with the basket. I was a little embarrassed by the extra "pouch" that was included. it didn't smell like anything and was made out of weirdly cheap stuff, so I just threw it away.

I use this as a laundry basket to make climbing stairs easier. The picture is VERY deceptive. The photoshop they did is very close to false advertising. It is best to take a tape measure and draw the bottom measurement on a piece of paper. This will give you an idea of how big it really is. It serves my purpose so I'm not returning it, but I still find the practice of using Photoshop on images of a product they are trying to sell unethical. Hence only three stars.
