    So belt. in my opinion

Seems solid, but my main complaint is that the thumb unlock is very difficult to undo. That's the only reason I can't recommend this belt.

    Pros
    • it would be nice if they were different sizes
    Cons
    • Difficult to clean and maintain

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Flimsy .....: my rating

Less for more. This belt is more expensive than the canvas version I bought from another seller, but the material of the belt is thinner and the buckle is much thinner.

    Pros
    • A little difficult to unzip
    Cons
    • Cannot withstand heavy use or intense activity

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

The picture shown is better than the belt

A real web belt will probably last forever. It's the buckle that let him down. A stronger buckle would make this product good and more user-friendly. Buy a better belt.

    Pros
    • It seems a little cheap but do the job.
    Cons
    • The buckle is very small...child size.

    Sturdy, beautiful belt

While not as stiff as the military belts I've worn before, this belt is durable and fits your waist very well. A simple latch holds the strap in place until you pull to release it, and hasn't come loose unexpectedly so far. I really like this belt.

    Pros
    • Helps my adjustable waist
    Cons
    • The design can be too generic or simple

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    No military rank...

Very thin, difficult to hold with a clasp. Not exactly military grade. The strangest thing was the mailer it came in. It was covered with some kind of lotion around the belt and in the pocket. Very strange…

    Pros
    • Comfortable and durable.
    Cons
    • The buckle can easily rust or tarnish

    Buy me some good ones

I use this type of belt with both plastic and metal buckles because they are inexpensive, fully adjustable, and can be color coordinated with almost any type of pant (I hate using a black belt on khakis). I haven't had a single dip, but I still carry extras in my car and travel bag.

    Pros
    • A good product
    Cons
    • Does not offer adjustable size

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Well made and quite comfortable.

I would have preferred a slightly thicker and wider strap material, but this strap is quite comfortable. It was easy to cut to length, and once adjusted around the waist, the buckle held up fairly well and wasn't as difficult to unbuckle as some readers had suggested.

    Pros
    • Holds up well. No problem. On time delivery
    Cons
    • Limited color options

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Stays in place - no slipping

Tired of old belts with holes that never match my comfort level. I've tried other fabric straps but they all stretched and I had to keep readjusting. This belt takes me back to when I was in the Navy and the cotton belts we used to wear. As mentioned, the belt gauge is a bit thin (2mm). While a slightly thicker strap would improve comfort, I imagine the cost would increase as well! The buckle has small teeth that grab the fabric as you tighten the belt, so much so that it's almost impossible to

    Pros
    • Works perfectly
    Cons
    • The buckle cannot be adjusted unless pryed open. Never had a problem like this with these straps. Not worth buying.

    Large canvas belt

Woodland Camo Ink Print (made in the USA by Thomas Bates) on olive green canvas. Has a noticeable chemical smell from the plastic packaging it came in (probably ink) which was not on the identical Olive Drab belt (made in the USA by Thomas Bates) that I purchased and reviewed. I think the smell will fade over time, don't worry. highlighted. As described.

    Pros
    • Good.
    Cons
    • Only available in one size

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

    construction is faulty

I saw some reviews mentioning that this belt buckle doesn't hold the belt but decided to give it a try anyway. The other review was correct. The buckle is ok (I tested it with another strap and it worked fine) but the strap itself is not thick enough for the buckle to hook into it well. I tried the belt with a different buckle and that buckle didn't hold the belt. I think the problem is clearly that the tape material wasn't thick enough. I had to send it back as a strap that doesn't hold up…

    Pros
    • So good that I ordered a second one
    Cons
    • Thin, narrow, difficult to work with a buckle.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Made in the USA, very durable and reliable product.

I'm glad I found this belt on Ebay because I really struggled to find the right one. It's a small company and the workmanship is pretty good!

    Pros
    • Passes through all belt loops.
    Cons
    • The buckle may be too big and bulky

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought blue, brown and black belts.

This review is for three. They are beautiful, good color and long enough to fit most people. I didn't use buckles, instead used them with USMC buckles. I had to use a zip tie/tape on the end that goes into the buckle to secure the buckle to the straps, but I'm sure they will work just fine with the buckles that come with the straps.

    Pros
    • Similar to the webbing made by the military. These straps are really comfortable.
    Cons
    • Great

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Everything is fine, looks nice

I expected the strap to be more durable. He's pretty thin. hope it lasts My previous belt of a similar style that I bought at a clearance store lasted ten years. I think it will survive maybe 2 years of river hiking and fishing.

    Pros
    • Just ok for the money
    Cons
    • Smaller than standard men's size. Suitable for children

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Nice all purpose belt.

Bought this belt 1 and 1/4" wide to fit the smaller belt loops. It was easy to cut to my size and put the buckle back on. Good construction and I expect it to wear well. The buckle is in A bit fiddly to open compared to the standard belt buckle.

    Pros
    • Good belt. Cotton holds up better than polyester and holds the clip better.
    Cons
    • May not be strong enough to last long

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    look elsewhere in my opinion

While this is a fairly strong and durable belt, that's where the compliments end. This strap is not suitable for everyday use as you can hardly tighten it as tight as you would like and then once it is where you want it you cannot take the strap off. Because the buckle won't open and you can't grab the little buttons/levers on the sides to pull it down. Overall I highly recommend looking for another belt and only buying one if you intend to wear it very infrequently. .

    Pros
    • Prompt, fast delivery and the belt I know and love! I recommend to everyone!
    Cons
    • Belt is ok. The buckle snaps into place and does not slip. a little hard to get it sliding from time to time

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

The buckle is the best junk in my review

I would give half a star if I could. The fabric strap is good, but the buckle locking tab bent when I pulled to lock the strap into it. Cheap design and bent tabs.

    Pros
    • Arrived on time and fits great.
    Cons
    • Too small.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent belt - my new review

Not bad, but not as tight as my signature Columbia belt. I don't think the buckle is as strong as the Columbia belt. Can be shortened if too long. Carefully remove the metal end piece, cut it off and carefully reinsert the metal end piece. I remember they used to be sold at the Navy store for $3 to $5.

    Pros
    • Like everything about it.
    Cons
    • Compared to other belt options, the price may be too high

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

easy to put on and take off

I bought this belt to wear another Thomas Bates belt for years - I still have it and hope to get as much use out of it as long as the belt is easy to put on and comfortable to wear another in for Christmas get a different color

    Pros
    • a bit ugly
    Cons
    • Over time, it can stretch and lose its shape.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Nice military style belt.

The military belt is very similar to the government belt. The buckle is strong and I cut the belt to length with no problem. worth your money.

    Pros
    • I wish the fabric was a little thicker.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for formal occasions

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Great price, great look

Light and well made. Not sure about durability but at this price point I'd be happy if I had to replace it every year although it will likely last a lot longer.

    Pros
    • Great style and fits well.
    Cons
    • Not your Boy Scout belt from the 70's.
