Honestly, they are soft, absorb well! But I sent them back the same day I received them, the edges are sooo scratchy, I tried to remove the eyeliner and scratched my eye, short story. It's not for the face or eyes, but if you're buying them for anything other than your face I think they're fine.

These pads are terrible. The description reads "100% PURE NATURAL - NO LINEN - Our clean cotton pads don't flake off!" I took a few out of the package and found lint all over them. The photo only shows what has come loose from multiple pads - every pad in and all edges are frayed. They end up in the garbage can!

Who Reviews Cotton Circles? This guy. You don't know a good Q-Tip until you've tried a bad one. The last pack of ammo I bought a while ago was the worst ever, it fell apart and stuck to my face. But this brand is fantastic. Soft, absorbent and strong enough not to fall apart.

These cotton pads are more durable than most brands I've tried. They will not fall out or fall apart when used to remove makeup or nail polish. They hold nail polish remover, alcohol and oils without large drips and last longer. I can use a pad to remove 2 or 3 nails from 3 coats of polish!

They are quite coarse, I prefer the soft ones sold at Walmart/Target for literally the same price. They're fine, do their job, but I wouldn't buy them back.

Can't believe no reviewer mentioned that they have a strong smell like mass market laundry detergent. These are not "premium" cartridges. If you compare them to Costco's, you'll immediately notice a huge difference in weight, size, texture, and smell. Costco are more expensive but definitely better if you use them on your face or body. I have opened the product and am not sure if it is returnable so I will probably only use it to clean electronics, wiper blades and such.
