Hi I bought cotton swabs for my mom. Her larynx and vocal cords were removed five years ago. She uses cotton swabs to clean her stoma. The stoma is the opening in her throat through which she breathes. she didn't smoke. but developed throat cancer, she has been cancer-free for five years. your cotton swabs are great. the price is really great. I need a sterile cotton swab for my ear as the tube inserted into the eardrum is permanently damaged and will never heal. I prefer the 3" x 6" but it was out of stock - I find the 3" stick has stronger wooden handles. The 6" handle broke and interfered because of this, and the cotton head seems less full - get the 3 inch grip if you can find one IMHO.

Just needed a few but didn't want to run to the drug store. I now have a lifetime supply of individually wrapped sterile cotton pads, but I still don't have to leave the house.
