Discover Lash Ambition: COVERGIRL Full Spectrum Mascara in Black, 0.3 oz. Review

Don't let anyone tell you that all mascaras are the same - it's not. Some are better than others and this is one of them. It made my lashes longer, darker, and thicker and lasted all day until I washed it off. Rinses off easily with both make-up remover and mild facial cleanser. I like the thick and curved pen that holds just enough product without sticking or flaking when applied. The best part is that it costs less than $10 but works just as well as mascara which costs 3-4 times more!

I have rather weak anemic light lashes. Covergirl Full Spectrum Lash Ambition has a gorgeous back brush full of bristles. It TAKES the hard-to-reach places at the beginning and end of the lashes and makes your lashes thick and full. I love it. I was surprised at the quality of this mascara. I usually use MAC and it was just as good and maybe even better for me with this killer brush theme! Even though I have white lashes, I love the jet black color. Big!

This mascara works very well. I'm a regular Cover Girl Lash Blast user and every time I try a different formula (or brand) I'm usually very disappointed. I like the plastic/silicone lash blast stick. Full Spectrum Lash Ambition Mascara is fine. It went smoothly and there were no lumps. It is also very easy to wash out. It seemed to me that he paints over each eyelash well. I prefer a mascara with a more dramatic look, so I like my other mascara better. In the photos you can see this mascara without mascara on the other eye and then this mascara with another mascara on the other eye for comparison.

If you like a luscious, thick and bold mascara, I recommend Covergirl's Full Spectrum Lash Ambition Mascara in Very Black. I like the brush, it's comfortable to hold, it applies mascara well to the lashes, but a little goes a long way! The brush is also easy to clean. The mascara itself is jet black and very shiny, like jet black, so it definitely makes your eyes stand out and "pop". I love it and recommend it to others.

I was very happy to use this Covergirl product. I use several other items in her makeup line. They are not overly expensive and serve their purpose. I wasn't that impressed. A typical mascara that clumps when applied. There is no special brush for application. Didn't notice they made my lashes thicker, just spiky. Using an eyelash comb helps, but that's not a product I would buy. They already have the best mascaras in their range.

I really like this mascara. I wasn't sure if the shape of the brush would make a huge difference, but it certainly does as it adds a bit more color to the areas of the lashes you want to accentuate and lengthen, which of course is what mascara is supposed to do do it. It is easy to apply and washes off with a normal make-up remover. It's very black, which also makes the eyes appear larger. Of course, Cover Girl is a well-known and reliable brand.
