💄 COVERGIRL Trunaked Eyeshadow Palette, Roses 815 - Luxurious Shades for Stunning Eye Makeup – 0.23 Ounce Review

After watching a YouTuber video using this palette I had to buy it. Unfortunately, I'm just a little disappointed. Looking at the colors in the palette, they are beautiful. But when you put them on, they change dramatically. Light shades will turn out several tones darker than they appear. I couldn't use them the way I intended. I had to figure out what each one actually looks like and plan what colors to use accordingly. The taste "chocolate" actually smells more like vanilla, but that's okay.

Today I received my Sunsets palette from Covergirl's cover, it was packaged well but when I opened it the palette was broken. I immediately contacted customer service and Revain resolved the situation immediately and let me keep the palette but gave me a full refund for the palette because it was broken. They have excellent customer service. I have cleaned the palette and it is beautiful. I used it today and the colors are very pigmented, pretty and blend well. The eyeshadow colors didn't flake

The eye shadow looked like it was a product that someone returned and then bought and resold to me, the customer. The reason I say this is because it looked like some of the colors were crossed out. I just found it kinda weird. I went ahead and used it as I didn't know for sure and the colors are beautiful. I will say that I will probably not get it again because I will not pay for a possibly used product.

As much as I don't want this to be fake, it is fake. I read other comments about it not being authentic so I did a little research when I got the palette. I went to the cover girl's website. First, it doesn't contain the hallmark of cruelty. Second, the colors don't match the real palette. The rest of the packaging looks authentic. The colors in this palette are beautiful. You will receive two pallets. While not authentic, for the money this is a trigger pan.

This pallet has had its security seal broken. They were a shadow on the applicator, when I tried to return it it said non-refundable and then when I tried to file a complaint about it I got stuck in an endless loop and couldn't get any satisfaction. I find it very funny that I can't return it but obviously someone else did so I could get a used pallet! Disgusting.
