This set is about as good as I expected for being so cheap. The parts are pretty small and the magnet is pretty weak but it kept my daughter entertained in the pool for a while. I love that it comes with a nice variety of shapes and two worms (magnets). The magnetic part in fish pieces is just a metal screw. I would not use this set with children under the age of 4 as there is too risk of the screws loosening and a child choking or injuring them.

This is a great little set to keep any child occupied! I put a bowl of water right in the kitchen or maybe in the bathtub. My only complaint is that the bars break very easily. One fell apart on my daughter the first day she received it. She's 5 years old and she's not rough with her stuff, that's disappointing. Other than that, it's a good buy. I've found that sometimes I can fix the pole and other times it's hopeless. We ended up buying extra sticks.

My 3 year old loved using this rod for the first 18 hours of playing with it. The magnet already fell out of the wrong worm at the end of the fishing line when he threw it, now we can find it because it flew away somewhere and now our baby is in danger of finding it in the carpet for us and we know how It's going ok. This item was purchased for use with a green screen for distance learning of speech therapy with preschool children. The picture from the website shows different sea creatures. I did not get many of the items shown including octopus, squid, conch, seahorse, shark etc. Instead I got many cheaper items, mostly fish (see picture). The colors of the items didn't make sense either - instead of a red crab as shown on the site, I got a cheap light yellow. I had to get it working for my sessions…

The first bath was fun. Then the rod broke. And small toys don't stick well to the magnet. And they take water. If you want to buy a cheap holiday toy, then buy it. Perfect. Use it at the hotel and then throw it away before you leave so you don't have to pack it! Ha! Although for real. But if you want a bath toy that will last, don't buy it.
