This jigger looks great and appears to be well made and well finished BUT the markings could be a lot better. They are engraved there but can be darkened a bit like the OXO jigger. Measuring is pretty much all about jiggers so I think being able to see clearly how much you are pouring is very important. The design and finish of this shaker set is beautiful. However, there are a few problems. In the dishwasher, water collects on the decorative base, which is open rather than solid. During the drying process, quite a lot of water remains, so it must be drained and wiped with a towel. When you get clapped at the pole, every extra time is a pain. This is by far the most amazing all round home use jigger ever! Bartenders might want something that's quicker and easier to read. but for the home enthusiast, look no further! First, it's a lot less messy because everything is done on one side (except for the ⅛ ounce, which is on the bottom). So no more tipping and dripping.
