Good for skateboarding.

Pretty much what I was looking for and way cheaper than prescription braces. Works great, comfortable fit. Can be worn with shoes. Serves its purpose, prevents twisting and spraining of the ankle. I sprained my ankle skateboarding and wear it occasionally to prevent further damage and it doesn't feel too intrusive. However, I recommend wearing two layers of high socks on the leg to help with compression to reduce swelling and soften the feel of the corset.

Great bandage for active people

After a lot of problems with my ankle and after the last sprain playing volleyball I decided to buy a pair of these active ankle bandages. This orthosis is easy to use and very light. The only downside of this model is that after some time of use (in my case half a year) the hinge makes a creaking noise that I don't think can be removed with grease. active people with some ankle problems who want to be in the game.

A+ Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for a minor annoyance, see below

I've been using it almost daily (weekdays) for several months and I'm VERY grateful it was invented! My ankle has mostly healed but I plan to continue using this indefinitely as a preventive measure and possibly buy another one for another ankle. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes it doesn't feel very secure in my shoes. Most of the time it's fine and I hardly notice it (except for an extra minute or two to put it on my foot when I'm playing racquetball), but sometimes I might be doing…

Great for volleyball

My daughter's volleyball coach asked for these and I'm glad they're great. My daughter has weak ankles and tends to twist her ankles but not in them! she loves them Very reliable lateral support that allows you to move in the right direction. They should also work well for basketball players and any sport where you can twist your ankle. I wish I had them with me when I played because I sprained my ankles playing basketball all the time. Best quality. Very durable and well made. Highly…

Tourists must buy!

AMAZING! After a bad fall I know I will eventually need to repair or possibly replace my ankle (1 surgery already) but I've milked my mobility to the bitter end - took this brace a month ago - it's AMAZING! I have no idea why it works or how it works, but it's changing the world. This pup goes with me on my hikes on the Appalachian Trails, except this time I don't have to deal with Advil and the usual pain afterwards. For you backpackers, even ultralight ones, it's worth the weight, also for…

PERFECT HARMONY OF PERFORMANCE AND COMFORT

I am 28 years old and recovering from numerous ankle injuries from soccer. I've gotten to the point where my ankle keeps telling me it's not 100%, even with a year off. A year ago, an MRI showed an injury from repeated injuries, the doctor said to go to rehab and only play if the ankle does not swell after playing. I play receiver, so being able to cut and "fly" is a must. Now I can do this by combining: Pre-Wrap Spray Ankle Wrap (prevents blistering and ensures good bandaging) Athletic Tape…
