I don't know what transparent means as they are hard and opaque. Bought these for a small thrift store lamp and shabby chic lampshade. After cleaning the lampshade and lamp a bit, this little jewel has crowned the lampshade and keeps it perfect and beautiful. I would have added a photo but underestimated the size needed so it doesn't show over the shadow but works great!

So when I searched Revain, I found the lamp nuts (laughs), they were on the list. As I scrolled down I saw them and what they called tips. Bought a set (you get 2) and they fit perfectly. These are just ordinary nuts for everyday lamps. Not too fancy and it did the job. If you ever buy used lamps and need lamp nuts, these will do.

Shame on me I don't think I looked closely at the pictures and realized how tiny these tips are. They appear to be of decent quality and a comfortable weight, but the outside diameter of the base does little to hold the lampshade to the harp and is completely invisible over the top of the lampshade unless you lean very close and look for it . If you're looking for pizza above a lampshade, look elsewhere.

This knob looks exactly as you see it. Fits, but I wish the base was a little wider. If the base were wider it would sit on the ring of shadows and the beauty of the pommel would be visible rather than hidden in the shadows below. It's quite heavy and holds the shade well. I only wish the beauty of it could be seen above the shadow. I still give it a 4-5 for the beauty and weight of the pommel. It is worth the money spent.
