I make masks and can sew 1/3 of the brush into the upper edge of the mask as a nose protection. They work great! Almost done so I will buy again!

I have used them to make masks. The end was the question. I used 2 to increase the width of the wire and then used tape on the ends to seal the ends. Worked great. I also put a strip in the middle to keep the two strands flat. So far no complaints. Provided you wash well.

These pipe brushes provide the necessary rigidity at the top of the mask to hold the contour around the bridge of the nose. They can easily be cut with pliers. The coating provides shock absorption of the wire. Several solutions have been tried for a rigid element that is padded and can be molded over the nose, these pipe cleaners provide the functionality required.

Well, it's just brushes! However, the size of 6 mm (approx. 1/4 inch) is very suitable for cleaning guns. You'll love the grouping and packaging of 100's for you to find/use in the future. They are also very "twisted" and workable, allowing you to get into hard-to-reach places in a firearm. The larger the size, the greater the benefit. Just "buy" ------ you will not regret it.

Well, these are brushes. They're a little smaller than the last batch I bought at my local dollar store, but they do what they're supposed to do, which in this case forms a face mask nose wire of sorts. I would have liked a thicker "fluff", but that's how it is. I also use them to fish lint out of the inside of my sewing machine and they do a great job of that too.
