💡 Cree Lighting: Dimmable Industrial Electrical with Equivalent Lumens Power Review

I have only used LED bulbs for the past 10 years. First Philips and now mostly Cree. I had a 1600 lumen Philips bulb in my bedroom, it was dimmable, lasted about 4 years and went out. I replaced it with this Cree 2000 lumen and I can say that not only is it brighter but colors look better thanks to a CRI of 90 (Philips had 80). This Cree also dims beautifully with a Lutron desktop dimmer. I tried the dimmer in the bedroom and living room and Cree was able to dim the lights with no issues.

I've tried it literally over 100 times. Off for 1s, incl. for 1s (x4) Off for 2s, incl. for 1s (x4) ) Off for 3 seconds, on for 1 second (x4) and vice versa. I've tried every permutation and left the light on for more than 10 seconds to start the process. Then again with the lights off for more than 10s. I watched every YT video. When I opened it I noticed that 1 was inside the box upside down which makes me wonder if these were previous returns but NONE of the 2 I bought worked. To return.

I don't know other brands, so I often choose CREE. Color temperature is exactly what I wanted, color rendering and brightness are good. Longevity is yet to come, but I have about a dozen other CREE products that failed fairly early in their intended lifespan. I'm hoping to return them in one batch for a replacement to save on shipping. The problem I have is the compatibility with dimmers. I use Leviton Decora slide dimmers advertised as LED compatible.
