Maybe they fit better as he gets closer to a 12 month old (he's 6-12 months tall) but they seem really big to me. The material is quite thin, a little see-through, but cute. I thought it would be a thicker material for a sweater but that's not that waffle material if you know what it is I can't describe it. In autumn it would be ok with another long sleeve underneath, but not alone. Also my daughter is 11 months old and about 30 inches tall and I bought 12-18 months old and now it fits her a bit more than I wanted but now it closes great. I bought this for her a few months later when it was getting colder…
