Everything you need to cut Your Cricut will be placed on the cutting mat. The one most used today is the green carpet. This package contains all three styles of 12" x 12" mats. I suggest you rotate the paper at different corners of the mat to keep it sticky and use other mats if you need more or less support. I've been a marathon user of my Cricut so far, but after 6 months of ownership and two very intense long cutting sessions, my green mat is fairly used but still usable for another light…

Pros
  • . Recommended materials for an easy-tack cutting mat: printer paper, thin cardboard, vellum, thick paper and vinyl
Cons
  • thin

The mats don't last as long as they should due to the exorbitant prices. There are other companies that produce identical rugs for less. Those mats are also useless since Cricut decided to get their customers to sign up to use the machine, which we've already paid several hundred dollars for. Their HTVs and docs are ridiculously high, especially for this quality. HTV is so bulky after installation while Siser is thin and soft. The software they force you to pay for is clunky and not real design

Pros
  • Cutting mats
Cons
  • A few minor things

Excellent quality and durability!

As with most cricket machines and accessories, training is required to use. Once you master your technique (by watching dozens of YouTube videos and lots of experimentation), these rugs are simply amazing. You can never have too much either. I've had projects that sometimes called for 15-20 mats. Of course you can remove the paper after each cut and insert the next sheet, as well as make a protection with a passe-partout or two. But they can get tedious and make cutting your project 199 times…

Pros
  • Quilting
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I love these rugs. Tips for using them.

These rugs seem to be much better than the rugs I used with my old Cricut years ago. The light sticky mat is particularly useful, I use it on colored paper and when drawing only for drawing on light cardboard (when I use the medium sticky mat only for drawing, I have a hard time lifting a whole sheet of cardboard). without bending it). Didn't use a hard grip mat. I doubt I'll be using it very often, but it's good to know I'll have it when I need it. These last a while, and for new Cricut users,
