One of the best blade holders I have

SUPER LIGHT! I have big hands and it still fits. My only concern is that you have to be VERY careful when inserting and removing the blade or you will definitely cut yourself. ESPECIALLY when removing the blade from the holder. Otherwise I can recommend this razor blade holder.

It's hard to say where to start for sure.

God, there are so many of them on Revane. You can see which styles can be foul play. You want to start with something cheap before investing in something like Dovo. Trust me I really understand. It had a really thin and rounded Turkish-style blade, which I realized after a while was the closest approximation to a sharpened razor I could see. I fitted a professional derby blade and am very happy with it for the price. Be careful with the pin, it's definitely cheap plastic and I'm very careful…

Should have bought it a long time ago.

I was always hesitant to buy this Turkish straight razor because I read reviews about how dangerous it can be to put a blade in a razor holder. As long as you snap off both ends of the blade, you're done. This razor effortlessly leaves a clean line. MUST BUY!
