Bigger than expected but big is better than small considering small feet grow. However, the problem when they are big is that they fall off too easily. This isn't a problem if baby is walking as he will notice. But if you put the baby in the stroller and he starts to fall asleep, the shoe will easily come off and no one will notice. These crocodiles are so cute! My son uses it every day. Easy to put on and slightly tug at the back to conform to the foot. These were for my toddler who wears a size 10.5 to 11. Ordered 11 hoping they would be a little bigger than I thought. But I would prefer that they fit more than smaller than expected as he will outgrow it :) Other than that they fit PERFECTLY and match or match whatever clothes he wears. He loves them (even though they're big) and prefers them to his other shoes when we're about to walk out the door. He goes so far as to call them his "special shoes" and thanked them repeatedly.
