My granddaughter is 12 and she loves this style! She has a closet full of black, blue, and white skirts in this style. I decided to buy her this one hoping she would like this color. I'm happy to report that she loves it and can't wait to wear it to school. I like the quality of the fabric, thick and sewn well. She has to wear shorts underneath, and it's long enough to be mid-thigh, so that's not a problem.

What I like about this skirt is the high quality material and the rich colours. But the length is not so big, it is so short. And the size is (as usual) quite small. But on that note; For our slim five (almost six) years we ordered 8. There is an adjustable waist to get the best fit. So, in order for it to be the right length for the child, you need to increase it and tighten it as much as possible. He's still a bit big. Overall I would recommend this brand.

However, I got these in a 5 on the recommendation of the size chart. However, it suits her. The material is 95% polyester and 67% spandex making it perfect for the cooler seasons as it packs some warmth. It's breathable, soft and has a little stretch. The waistband is elastic, so the skirt is easy to put on
