The best base possible

After trying various pre shave oils and creams during a wet shave I have to give this gel a perfect rating. Nothing produced the desired end result quite like this mix. Light, smooth, moisturizing and easy to dose, this product gives your razor the path of least resistance when gliding over the roughest of beards and the most sensitive skin (like mine lol).

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Too long to wait

I shave better dry shaving with a disposable razor

Used shaving oil and castor oil as skin protectant and hair softener before lathering. It didn't really cut the mustard either. First, it's a gel that's basically rubbed into your skin. It left no protection or extra slip when shaving. The bottle even says it can be used as a shaving gel. Not! I shave better with a dry shave with a disposable razor! My shaved skin also tends to feel dry after shaving, so I need to use more lotion as well. So I'll probably keep using it until it's gone, but then

Excellent pre-shave

Excellent pre-shave - the advantage of this product is that it does not leave a greasy film but simply rinses off. This becomes important when you can get your hands on a Darwin razor without purchasing a perfectly polished Art Deco handle and Feather blade within. Trust me when I say you don't want to twist this around your face (or legs) with a slick grip - you don't have to use alum on your fingers just to hold the razor. This is your pre-shave choice. Not sacrificing too much extra…

  • Excellent for me

  • No instructions

Without exception the best pre-shave oil I've tried.

I've been shaving with a brush for a while and preshave oils are essential for a close shave. I've tried many frustrating products, either too thin to really lubricate the blade or so thick that they stick the razor together. This oil is the perfect creation - thick enough to stay in place once applied, but doesn't stick to my skin or clog my razor. I don't even notice the smell, if there is one. I've been using it for more than 3 months now, there's still plenty in the bottle but when it's…

Pros
  • Like all before
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Didn't work at all

I have sensitive skin and often use other preshave brands to reduce irritation and improve glide while shaving. This product did neither. In fact, my shave was worse with the product than without. Note. I use a Panasonic electric shaver.

  • Well built
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

silky smoothness on shaving creams

I like to apply it to my face and head before every shave, I don't know how strong it is but it seems to cause less irritation when I use it, In mine In my opinion, a cream or soap that you lather up yourself works much better than something from a can or tube and lasts a very long time.

  • Almost everything is ok
