Five Stars Spark Plug & Ignition Tools

Great tool! Just the right size and my wife loves it. Updated: 04/14/2016. I am assuming there is more than one manufacturer of this product as mine is not chrome plated as shown in the picture. This is galvanized steel. It is not hollow throughout. The end of the socket is 3/4" deep, perfect for a 3/8" socket handle. The end of the plug is 3 1/2" deep - enough for a spark plug. The rest is solid. It doesn't have a rubber guide plug; it's magnetic. Still a great tool that my wife and I use…

Quality Control Issues: 3/8 " socket will not fit 3/8 " ratchet.

I think the price is double what it's worth considering the quality compared to the US made SK Tools SK 4422 head (discontinued) which is $22 costs. The problem that rendered the tool useless was that it is a 3/8 inch socket. However, the drive end was too small to fit a 3/8" ratchet. So I returned it. I never found the right position for the job; So I can order it again, hoping the next one isn't defective. Definitely a factory quality control issue.

Works great with a 2013 Focus ST

I didn't want to risk separating the regular spark plug from the extension so I looked for a long spark plug that was one piece. This socket works great and makes it quick and easy to change the spark plugs on my 2013 Ford Focus ST. It has a strong magnet that holds the spark plug securely so it doesn't fall out of the socket. It appears to be well built and I expect it to last the life of the car and beyond. When I install new spark plugs, I use this tool to finger tighten the spark plugs and…

Great solution for accessing deep spark plugs

I have a motorcycle with deep spark plugs that have spark plugs on the bottom. Sports bike with in-line four-cylinder engine. There is very little space for any type of outlet. In fact, all of my sockets, most of which are professional, don't fit in these indentations. Only a deep spout fits. This product solves the problem of the socket getting lost in the duct because this socket is long and has thin walls so it fits (with a little gap, which is nice). It's also magnetic to keep the spark…

Great solution for Audi 6 " deep well.

I ordered this to access the 6" deep spark plug wells on a 2013 Audi A4 allroad / 2.0L TFSI (B8). as in the photo by Revain; It's a matte finish that happily picks up grease and oil.Overall I'm happy with the tool, particularly the difficulties I've had with the stock rubber-insulated spark plug heads and their tendency to stick to the spark plug, when I pull out the drive extension. Finally, the 3/8" square socket is either poorly made or so tightly toleranced that my ratchet doesn't fit and my
