It's either faulty assembly or poor design, but one of the main criteria for a belt is the ability to fit the end of the belt through the buckle. Even twisting the end to cross over wasn't enough, you had to slide it through the buckle. I could try trimming the leather end a bit on both sides, but then the stretched part would rub. They should have made the buckle just 1/8" wider and that would have been great. I suspect they bought the buckles in bulk and tried to get them to work but it…

This belt may save you some money, but it's not worth it for any man who cares about their fashion. The elastic is cheap and looks tacky. The buckle is also flimsy and won't last long. It's a shame because the idea of an elastic belt with a matching buckle is nice, but this execution falls short. Men's fashion deserves better than this subpar accessory.

I need to wear something that will hold up my pants but not push stomach acid up my esophagus. It meets all requirements. They do stretch pretty quickly though, so I complement them with braces and buy more than one at a time so I have fresh ones on hand.

I bought three of these belts in different colors. I ordered them small because some reviews said they were big. All three arrived marked "small" but they are all different lengths. One fits well, another is too small, and the third is so big that after I fasten it, there's a nice 8-10 inch extra belt that hangs around and dangles down the front of my pants. My 3 star rating is for the one that fits, the other two get 0 stars. Very poor quality control in sizing.
