First Aid Kit - Self Adhesive Band Aids

Bought these for a new first aid kit I am assembling. For a severe scrape or small cut that bleeds easily, coagulants should help stop the bleeding a little sooner than a regular bandage.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

A must have item for patients with diluted blood

Required if you or a loved one are taking a blood thinner. It's easier to carry than powder to seal wounds, but powder is essential for a deeper cut or a more serious injury. These bandages are ideal for scrapes or small cuts.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Broken

Pretty incredible! Need big sizes!

Couldn't believe we had to use it within 1 week of delivery! My little grandson who is 20 months old kinda ripped his little fingernail off! This bandage stopped the bleeding instantly and stayed on until Mom took it off to take a bath!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Empty

Plaster to stop bleeding

Useful bandages to cover up deep cuts and scrapes. I always keep them handy as I use blood thinners and even small cuts and scrapes will bleed more than usual. Using any of them will quickly cause blood to clot and stop bleeding. It's very handy to have a few of these in your first aid kit and mix them up with regular band-aids.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Curad QuickStop - Healthcare

What about the adhesive strip? It sticks well and comes off when you want it. It is durable and has blood clotting technology that speeds up the clotting process. I have used these strips many times to cover my seams and they do a wonderful job. I definitely recommend them for your wounds.

In the first aid kit. Status!

Khabs was walking his dog - the dog saw a squirrel, Khabs didn't react immediately. Next thing you know, he's standing in the driveway with a bloody forehead. Clean it up and use one of these. Head wounds, no matter how mild, can bleed like nothing else. If you have kids or a violent dog, you need a box (or two) of these toys in your home.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish

Don't leave it for long

I think I should have looked at the instructions? I left this bandage on for two days and took it off when I went to the doctor's office as it was itchy. The bandage left marks and ate into my skin. They definitely stopped the bleeding but next time I'll take them off when the bleeding stops. Don't leave it on! I hope I'm not branded for life. Just call me the girl with the bandaged arm.

You need big associations.

They do what they say and stop the bleeding. However small ones might be ok for kids but not for most adults and medium ones are ok for fingers or little toes but I needed them on big toes and they just weren't big enough to stay in place, and i had to use a regular sized bandage and duct tape to hold them in place. Please make larger bandages and sell them in a separate box, multi-size boxes are a waste of our money.

  • Great for me

Excellent goods. Used correctly and it works.

I knew I would need them sooner or later so I bought them in advance. Today is the day! I opened a box of Revain and pinched my index finger with a pair of scissors. don't ask me how This bandage works like a charm. Blood does not seep through the bandage. It just seems like it stopped the bleeding. A good product! And very comfortable fabric. Soft, supple. I will buy again. Hopefully not for much longer. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
