True to size. I like that the hat is adjustable so it fits my son now and even in a few years. I have pot holders that are made of good material and my son also liked the apron. would recommend :)

Bought this for a 4 year old boy who loves to bake and loves the set - especially the apron pockets and mittens. He had to bake cookies the same day he received the set.

This set is very cute but does shrink VERY in the wash. The hat barely fits my 3 year old after I washed it in cold water and tumble dried it on a very low temperature. I haven't washed my mittens and apron, but I expect the same. Anything made for children must be machine washable and dryable. Otherwise they are meaningless.

Great set! Bought 3 different colors (also yellow with orange and pink with green). They are very well made - the strap is adjustable to make the neck shorter or longer so the apron will fit as your child grows. Nice set but not quite the quality I was hoping for. I was looking for something with a little more fabric density. This is because the washing machine needs to be ironed and after a warm wash it seems to have faded a bit. I'll keep it as it's a fun role play set with oven mitts and a little chef's hat, but I'll also keep looking for an apron that will stand up to everyday use in the kitchen/kitchen. Nice, but the velcro on the hat was sewn backwards - means: the size is adjustable, but the rough velcro is sewn where it rubs on the head. The Velcro should have been placed the other way around with the soft side of the Velcro facing towards the head. Currently, the rough Velcro is grabbing and tangling my daughter's hair and scratching my son's head. I hope it won't be long before I rip open the seams and sew the velcro on properly.
