First, the ropes are very difficult to untangle so they really snag. I spent 15 minutes on each string. I then decided to hook them up to see how they looked and only about 3 strings worked! A complete waste of labor and money.

I like how these headlights look after installation. Adds a fun atmosphere to the living room. They can easily get tangled when unrolling, but that was a bit tricky. The small remote works well but can communicate with our TV soundbar, so we use the button on the port to change the lighting settings. Overall happy with this purchase!

The remote control was a huge bonus as I had to plug it into a dresser and I couldn't control it manually. My kids love them as a soft night/reading light. Effective dimming, as suggested by the remote control, could not be achieved. The shimmering setting would probably be nice as a party decoration, but it's too fast and intense to use in a child's room at night, so we'll just stick with a constant setting.

I love the size and brightness of the light and some of the light settings are very good...but they refuse to keep the pattern you set them on have set . I obviously prefer them to be solid most of the time. But after a while they start flashing for about 10 seconds and then continue again until the next episode. 8 is supposed to be the corresponding button for solid lights, but all the numbered buttons seem to make it random to me. I have to press 8 one to five times for it to "hard" register.

This item was nice until I turned it on. First of all, DO NOT order this product if you suffer from epilepsy or are sensitive to flashlight. Whenever you turn it on, it starts over with the first function and the "always on" setting is #8, so you'll have to click each setting individually and trust me they're nasty. The end result looks great and arrived quickly but these lights are poorly made. After hanging them up and untangling all the bulbs, only two strands worked once we plugged them into the USB port. My friend had to remove the little plastic hook from the third string and twist the wires to make it work.
