It works. Size 80mm is good for as-d2 pen. There is no hesitation. It's on the light side so it will move/slip when you use it. I agree that it's pricey for what it is, but there aren't many alternatives for a razor-only stand. I wish they had made the base heavier and maybe with some kind of grip material on the bottom.

Fits perfectly on my Merkur 23c long handle, however the foot is a little wobbly. This isn't really a problem as the stand doesn't move much.

Made of metal with good chrome finish. A simple bullet that works well with most razors. Ideal for the Dollar Shave Club razor, with just a slight flare on the top teeth. It could use a little more "weight", but I have no real complaints. It certainly keeps the razor off the counter and adds a bit of class to male vanity.

This stand is perfect for my Vikings Blades Chieftain razor, it's perfect and beautiful and will help your razor dry properly after use

Had to bend the top a bit more to fit my razor. It worked fine, but I ended up replacing it with a similar stand that also holds my brush. Not a bad deal.
