Takes some getting used to. if you have never used such devices before. Make sure you tie them properly around the calves and legs! Once you get the hang of it, they're great. This tree climbing gear has met all my expectations. The building materials were of good quality and very easy to assemble and use. I was a bit nervous on my first climb but they did exactly what I expected and were very confident in cleaning my 30+ foot Queen Palms. The only reason I give this product 4 stars and not 5 is the lack of screws that normally come with this product. They're strong and durable (a couple of my friends used them when he recommended them to me and he's had them for 3 years now?) and they grab trees easily.
