I know why some people say it doesn't fit, breaks etc because you have to install it right. Under the wing you need to insert 2 tabs and then install the screws.

Purchased when my standard taillight broke in a screw hole. It assembled as expected and even fitted onto a standard PCB very well. Just go slow and light while putting them together.

Fits perfectly but only lasted 2 rides before it broke completely causing my tail light to fly off, smash and rip out the wiring. I'm worse now than when I started.

Perfect replacement for my XLH1200's defective OEM motherboard. The previous owner just tried to glue the original with super glue. It didn't work that well so I decided to replace it with this one. The fit and finish is good and everything is easy to attach.

Perfect for my lowrider. Well, as mentioned in one of the reviews, you need to install it properly. Make sure the shaft goes under the wing, and only after the propeller is installed. The quality is better than the original Harley in my opinion. My Harley Original broke after 4 years. By keeping the two close together, the custom dynamic's plastic is better and stiffer. Don't believe the reviews stating the chip and sheer quality.

This part allowed me to install a late model (2009+) LED tail light on the back of my 1996 FLHTC. After I cut the mounting brackets in the rear fender mounting hole, I taped the hole to determine where to place the new mounting holes at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. I used #8/32 stainless steel hardware with lock washers on the back. The rear LED brake light is a definite safety improvement and we recommend it to anyone still using a traditional bulb.
