To be honest the duvets look exactly like the picture but the blue side is very rough and the white side is still rough, albeit less rough than the blue side. Considering the price it's ok but to be honest I don't use it for my kid. You have such sensitive skin and I wouldn't put a rough cloth on his skin.

I have a cat who catches a cold very easily. He has a heated bed next to me on the couch, but he touched his NY Sweet Dreams comforter many times to tell me to tuck it in. He likes it! It's lightweight and will keep him warm, but not as warm as many fleece blankets. I bought him a second one for my bed so he can use it there too. The best pet blankets I've ever bought.
