Why take the risk of buying another manufacturer's microphone adapter to save €3? Just take what DJI recommends for the Osmo Action and don't worry. That works great.

Tried two different mics, no fun, save money and wait for DJI to come out with one, this one doesn't work like many of the long skinny others out there.

Finding it works. Turn it on, plug in your mic, start recording, BUT. If you want to do some sort of "action" with your Osmo action camera, your audio will be pretty patchy as the connection is choppy and there's no way to securely connect the adapter. If you don't move much this might work for you, but I found it pretty useless trying to capture better audio while working with this adapter.

Well I can say I was disappointed that it didn't work right away. I was afraid that the microphone or even the osmo function would not work. But once I removed the plastic that I believe is there to protect the camera, everything worked. This is the main reason for a star. I wish it would work right away instead of wasting time trying to get it to work. Otherwise I tested the microphone and you can tell the difference to internal microphones. But that was to be expected.
