✂️ Dahle Vantage 40026: 6" Comfort-Grip Scissors with Adjustable Tension and Precision Blades Review

Bought to have handy in my gadget bin next to me on the couch: scissors, pens, staple removers, letter opener etc. Just what I wanted : size, color, sharpness. Delivered on time.

scissors are sharp BUT difficult to open and close! I oiled it and loosened the screw which helped for a while. But now it is difficult to open it again after a short use. Very disappointed. Too unwieldy for picky cutting.

I ordered it based on the branding, assuming it was made in Germany! I have had other Dahle scissors and they were perfect. This one is made in China and is just as good. It's no different than in German. I should have known because of the price!

Dahle 6 inch scissors are of good quality and cut well. I have medium sized hands and these scissors work well for general medium length haircuts. The handles on the handles are comfortable to hold. I used 8", 5", 4" and mini/pocket scissors. For more precise cuts I recommend 5" Dahle scissors or other smaller scissors. I have a few shears at home including Fiskars, Scotch and others. This Dahle is the best of them all. Sharp, precise and good for small jobs. Comfortable handles ensure good control. In the last 10 years I have also bought several brands in larger sizes, for example for kitchen and office tables. Again, I found the Dahle Vantage line to be the best.
