These lights look great but regular bulbs won't fit. If you try to use regular lightbulbs they touch the sides of the globe and stick out over the globe making it look awful. You should get smaller lightbulbs, such as appliance lightbulbs or candelabra lightbulbs, so they don't stick out. I wanted to use Philips Hue LED bulbs in it but I couldn't. If you choose the right bulbs, it will be great.

It's really pretty but the other reviews are right about the bulbs not being covered. I need to find smaller ones. I also wish there was a better way to position the glass other than the eyeball. You have to move the glass until it is level. I wish there was something in there that would hold it in place.

Although I liked the look of this lantern, the glass was so thick that it blocked most of the light from the bulbs. Also, we had to use bulbs the size of the device (also 60 watts each) because ordinary bulbs didn't fit in the mount due to their proximity to the glass. While it's certainly beautiful, it was too dark to be the main fixture in my kitchen.

I have returned it. It was a fairly high quality shade, but the colors didn't even remotely match the photos on various websites. I was expecting the pink tiles to be a soft pink, but the "pink" tiles were a richer crimson. (Sorry, I should have taken a picture.) Judging by the amount of old, unopened shipping labels on the box, I'm probably not the only one who didn't care about the particular shade I received. The packaging was excellent and returning it would have been a breeze!
