Open-source and Free Data Access Language Capable

I like that it is open source, so anyone can use/edit this language if they want to! It's very useful for any system with an API or data storage capability within your organization - especially since you don't have access there yourself unless someone from another team adds something into their codebase first which will require permission etc., but still allows them some freedom even after adding such things as well by using templates provided via Daml itself instead of having other developers…

Pros
  • Very intuitive syntax
  • Can be utilized in conjunction woth many existing technologies eith ease (which makes adoption much quicker)
  • Open Source nature means everyone has full rights over what changes happen.
  • Many more languages already supported including ones developed outside DARPA altogether.
  • Easeful integration with Python Libraries used widely throughout industry today allowing seamless implementation between both environments
Cons
  • There are nuances

Very powerful and intuitive yet simple enough still

I like how easy it is to write software with this language, which makes my development faster than C or Java at least for now! It's also very fast when running tests as well so that helps out too :) Nothing really but i would recommend people read up about other languages before jumping into them if they don't know what their doing already because you might be confused/not fully understand things without learning more beforehand :). We use Daml heavily throughout our projects where we are…

Pros
  • Also being ableto build large apps quickly due To its simplicity (no needfor long scripts etc
Cons
  • Not seeing many downsides yet

A good modeling tool when paired up

I like the ability to use DDL files to build my own data model, which is very useful for prototyping. It's not exactly intuitive, but it does work well once you get used to it. Also, there are some limitations that make me wonder if this is really a "write your own" kind of thing. For example, you can't use other languages than SQL Server natively, so you have to write your own wrappers around things. So, it's not a full-on open source solution. This would be great if it were! But, we're stuck…

Pros
  • The basic idea behind how one could prototype models.
  • How easy they made everything
  • Simple codebase (and documentation)
  • Ease at creating new tables/relationships between them without having much trouble understanding its syntax or logic
Cons
  • It is hard to say
