Best mount I have ever bought

Best mount I have ever bought. Holds my GoPro 5 perfectly on my motorcycle helmet without me noticing. Curved helmet mounts, like those on the GoPro, place the camera in places on the helmet where limbs often hit it when riding trails. Another benefit is that I often don't trust the audio signals from the GoPro, but it's very easy to take off the helmet with the camera attached and visually confirm what the camera is doing. It also places the camera a few inches from your mouth, so the camera…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Low repairability

Destroyed my GoPro 5 - Use a security strap!

The mount lasted about 5 minutes on my first ride and I noticed it wasn't quite level so I tried repositioning it a bit and somehow it lost traction with my Shoei Hornet and fell on the freeway. The car behind me crushed her and my GoPro 5. I guess I should have used this strap, but I was really just testing the unit and didn't have a good spot to attach the strap for this test ride. I give it 3 stars because it looks good, but I didn't like the overall design. I've used other mounts for years…

  • Very good price

Doesn't work with MTB helmets like tld d3 or Fox Rampage

Ok I took a chance and failed if you have 2 of the most popular MTB helmets: Troy Lee Designs d3 Carbon or Fox. Previous gen Rampage Ca Carbon, you may not want to buy this. For the TLD this mount doesn't work at all as it clips into the vents on the inside of the helmet and the rest of the buckle doesn't come into contact with anything to hold on to. a It will sway a ton back and forth. The fox plays a lot but seems to be holding on better. Because the openings are not that big. So if you are…

Pros
  • Outstanding design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Broken GoPro mount when first attaching Hero9

When I first tried to mount my Hero9, the mounting tabs on the camera didn't snap properly into the clamp mount because the distance between the tabs on the camera mount was too small on the clamp. It appeared that the ears on the mount were slightly off-parallel, resulting in them not matching the camera's lugs. When I applied some force to the Hero9 while attempting to install it onto the mount, the plastic tab on the clamp chamber mount holding the nut cracked and broke. Although the mount…

  • Alright!

Great product - camera mounts and clips

I've used this on several trips to New Mexico and Arkansas with my KTM 1090R mounted on a Bell MX9 helmet. I have a Campark camera with the same mounts as the GoPro (used a waterproof case) and with this mount I don't even realize the camera is there at all and even after rough handling Dango stays completely in place with no signs of loosening. Ride. You can adjust the angle up and down to balance your field of view, although this depends on the length of your camera mount. Be aware that…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Tried other solutions, was skeptical - and very positively impressed!

So this mount was recommended by a YouTube channel I follow and at first glance it seemed quite comfortable and easy but a little pricey for what she was; (yet) another GoPro (or any other camera) mount for a motorcycle helmet. I think I still think it's a bit pricey for what it does, but when you consider how easy it is to use (or NOT to use) it really turns that argument on its head. I leave my camera attached to the mount most of the time and keep the camera and mount in my tank bag when not

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
