Put them on, go till you can. You'll give up in front of these socks.

As a mushroom picker, I do a lot of hiking and mountaineering, and this has allowed me to fully understand the difference between regular socks and socks that are really and specifically designed for those who like to travel miles in nature. These are the last ones. Warm when wet, soft lining right where you want it and the perfect height for bush walks. Good job my brother.

Poor socks - thin and tight

I expected the socks to be heavy. it's not like this. They are medium weight on the bottom of the foot and light on top. As a result, they don't fill the trunk properly. Also, my foot is right in the middle of the size range of the product I ordered. But the opening is insanely narrow. Possible health risk if worn for a long time as the lower part of the lower leg is heavily compressed. I don't care which famous climber is behind them. In my opinion and experience, these are bad socks. But if…

Hands down my new favorite socks

Oh I love these well made Red Sox. They are warm, soft, but not too bulky. So hell I spent some money to get 5 pairs so I always have one on hand. I bought RP clothing near Bosuebutt that I use for errands and walks. Well sewn, natural fiber. Oh I love that they are packaged with no spitting estrogen laden plastic to destroy. All fertility of all kinds in this world. No, nicely wrapped in matching paper. Pleasure in every respect. I'm glad I paid for five and now I'm wondering what else these…

Warm and very comfortable

Took them on a trip to Iceland in January. They were very comfortable and protected my feet well from the cold. I have to say that it wasn't as cold as usual in Iceland this time of year. The temperature was between 27 and 35 degrees Fahrenheit while I was there, so keep that in mind. What I can say, however, is this: They worked just as well as a few of the more expensive brands I bought at the same time. However, I agree with the other commenter that they should replace the picture of 3 pairs

Defective and thin as cloth

They arrived with a few threads (loops) torn which forced me to return them - if they have never been worn and have this flaw I can't imagine how they do would be after wearing and washing. They are very thin (the advert on this site says 33% wool but the packaging says 30%) so although I have not worn them I can see that they are unrelated to my Darned Tough round wool socks that offer excellent cushioning and have a lifetime replacement warranty to back them. These thin things are so thin…
