Has decent sound quality, to be honest I didn't notice any degradation. Relatively easy to assemble (see other reviews for hole size). I wouldn't recommend uninstalling and reinstalling very often as the retention mechanism is plastic. But it's solid, and if you cut a hole it won't rotate. Perfect fit for my application.

surface. This item looked perfect for the job, but looks can be deceiving. The 3.5mm headphone cable plugs in easily and actually sounds great. However, removing the 3.5mm cable from the plug removes the entire barrel from the socket, making it pointless.

Absolutely perfect for my project. I just installed a new head unit in my car with an aux port on the back. So what has been fixed? Find a good spot to poke a hole and run that bad boy to the back of the receiver to make it look like it was made for it from the factory. This flush-mount connection worked perfectly. I highly recommend a step drill to drill the hole perfectly.

I had my doubts when I ordered this. But it worked perfectly. I used an audio line splitter between the computer and the speaker hub. Then I connected the hidden bracket to the splitter. I didn't want to poke holes in my desk so I used two strips of 3M command tape instead. I put it low where my legs are so it doesn't get in the way.
