Hard to rate It's only a 25w bulb Would buy more if higher wattage bulbs existed Impressive design I didn't notice a lack of performance. You don't need a dimmer, but I use it in the hallway where the bathroom and bedrooms are, so there's enough light but not too much if there's glare.

They are great! I wanted low wattage for our bedroom and even the amber Edison bulbs were too bright (I used 6 on the beams/shelves I made to surround our bed). You are perfect! I've darkened the second image to show the detail of the bulbs. Fairy lights are magic! They give us plenty of light to read/fold laundry but aren't overwhelming. So pleasant!

These bulbs are beautiful. I bought these to replace the regular white Edison bulbs I have on my porch garland and they do not disappoint. They're brighter than I thought, but emit a blue-green ambient light that's not overly bright at all. My favorite aspect of these bulbs is that the strings of lights inside the bulbs slowly change color. It's done subtly, so not like flashing lights, which can be a little annoying.
