I love suede gloves (but not these)

I'm sorry they're now imported. Not sure if I'll keep buying them or poke around a bit. However, deerskin is the way to go. Unlike cowhide leather, it does not turn into hardboard when wet or dry. Deerskin is not as strong as cowhide, but wonderfully soft and supple. Update: I like suede gloves, but not THESE suede gloves. In one is a tangle of leathery bits of fiber that should have been cut off. It happened like this. And they run very small. I'm always happy with the large size with gloves…

Pros
  • Soft, stretchy, flexible gold suede
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Best I could find

I do a lot of gardening and have bought God knows how many pairs of gloves from Home Depot over the last 30 years. I've always been disappointed with Home Depot gloves, no matter which one, I chose their 4 or 5 brands. They never match - what they call great, I would call average. In addition, they wore out very quickly - cut a decent-sized tree and at least two fingers will open. I decided to conduct an experiment. I have ordered 7 different pairs of gloves from Revain. They were all leather…

Pros
  • Leather binding for durability
Cons
  • High price
