I am a size 16 and this suit fits as expected. It's also very convenient. I felt the front zip made me slim since my stomach is my problem area. I posted the photo because I know I'm always happy to see something on a real person before I buy. :)

I am 61 years old 5ft 120lbs Wo cup size C or D, 38 around. i love this suit It fits very well. The legs are not cut too high so they cover my back well. There are ruffles on the front to hide the tummy area. The material is comfortable. The zipper is also good and heavy. The cups aren't that big but hold me in place and look decent.

Normally I wear XL in tops and 14 in bottoms. I HATE tight things, and since I'm quite tall for a girl (5ft 8inches) I decided to go a size 2 (I just don't think 1 size would make a significant difference in a swimsuit) and I'm glad I did it! Although I don't really like how I look in it (and I wouldn't wear a bathing suit), I think it was the best I could do. I really like this suit. I wanted a suit that would be comfortable for everyday aqua aerobics and that would really fit my chest. This costume is amazing! The cups are big enough and that says a lot.
